Hello,`

About

I am a community-engaged researcher and emerging scholar, currently a PhD candidate in Ecological/Community Psychology at Michigan State University, focusing on participatory, justice-oriented approaches to intervention design and program evaluation in the health sector. Since 2009, I have worked in health and social services across Southern Africa, contributing to evaluations of major initiatives such as the Global Equality Fund portfolio, the Hands Off model on violence and HIV prevention, and the Going the Last Mile for HIV Control Project in Zimbabwe, while also providing life-skills training and psychosocial support to adolescents and survivors of abuse. My career is grounded in Ubuntu, social justice, and a commitment to transformative, sustainable change that uplifts communities and enhances wellbeing.
